SINGAPORE, 19 November 2022 — Pay2Home, a global money transfer institution, is honoured to announce that it has received four prestigious awards from the Remittance Association Singapore (RAS) on November 18, 2022. The awards were presented by the Guest of Honour, Ms. Indranee Rajah, Minister, Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development. Pay2Home earned the Covid-19 Hero Appreciation Award for maintaining remittance services during the pandemic. During the lockdown of migrant worker dorms, they formed a taskforce and deployed Money Transfer Machines to dorms and exhibition centres. They also offered dedicated support and multilingual guides to help workers use the machines and mobile app.

During the pandemic, Pay2Home worked closely with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and operators of quarantine centres and dormitories to provide daily rate updates and answer any queries and concerns raised by the migrant worker community.

Pay2Home co-founder and director, Mr. David Hulme, expressed gratitude for RAS's support during the pandemic, including PPE supplies, allowing them to safely provide money transfer solutions to the migrant worker community. He credited Pay2Home and other RAS member's efforts for easing the stress and difficulties faced by the community during the pandemic.

In recognition of their valuable contributions to the remittance industry, all three directors of Pay2Home - Nicholas Malcomson, David Hulme, and Wayne Salamonsen - received individual awards as industry veterans. These awards recognize their dedication and hard work in making a positive impact in the remittance industry.
